Beyond Politics

By 1968 a power house was formed. Mr. Loblack, Mr. Allfrey and Ms. Eugenia Charles along with others joined hands to found the Dominica Freedom Party. For the remainder of his life Mr. Loblack remained an outspoken supporter of the Dominica Freedom Party. He went on to receive a Meritorious Service Award from the state and a Certificate of Commendation from the University of the West Indies.

Mr. Loblack passed in 1995 and was given a State funeral on June 10, 1995. In an effort to remember and honor his contribution to the development of the island, the government of Dominica renamed the Roseau East Bridge to, The E. C. Loblack Bridge.
